Microsoft, Apple, Amazon, Google, IRS, etc will never call you telling you there is a problem with your account.

You bank or credit card will never call you and ask you for your password.

These are all scams!

Never give any personal information over the phone unless you are 100% sure who you are talking to. If you get a phone from someone claiming to be from Microsoft, Apple, Amazon, etc, hang up immediately. If you get a popup message do not call the number on the screen.
